Moy Tung Kung Fu Family

30th Anniversary

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this event. We had guests that came from all parts of the country (and a few international guests) to train, learn and celebrate with us. We would like to especially thank our special guests, Madam Helen Moy and Mr. William Moy for attending. We would also like to thank all the seniors who came and those that lectured, you made the event extra special.

The Moy Yat Kung Fu family lost a very special person on May 25. Our Si Bak and Si Bak Gung Moy Bin Wah passed away in Boston. He is responsible for introducing Grandmaster Moy Yat to their Sifu, Grandmaster Yip Man. So, essentially we all owe a great debt of gratitude to him for our Kung Fu. He had fully intended to attend this event despite feeling unwell, however, the week before the event it was decided that he was too ill to attend. He was a gift to all of us who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences to his family. There is a gofundme set up in his memory for funeral expenses, here

RVA Magazine did an article about the event which you can read, here.

Below are some photos from the event. To download the photos, please visit the link, here.
