Both Metal and the Ox are known for strength, reliability and perseverance. The Ox also embodies values such as family and hard work. Like the Plum tree, a metal ox can be a metaphor for Moy Yat Ving Tsun centerline horse training. “The Ox is slow, but the Earth is patient.”
For active Moy Tung lineage students, on Saturday, Feb 13 from 1-5pm, spend 4 hours doing hard work on Ving Tsun with your extended Kung Fu family, and receive instruction from and Q&A with Grandmaster Moy Tung.
The workout will be followed by an hour break, and then a Kung Fu family dinner from 7-9pm, with live video connection for those who want to hang out and enjoy Kung Fu life. This year, Grandmaster Moy Tung might talk about Kung Fu training and Kung Fu life in New York with Grandmaster Moy Yat, and the connection our Kung Fu family has with the Yip Man Hong Kong lineage of great Kung Fu masters.
