2021: Asheville Kung Fu Inaugural Workshop with Moy Tung

Asheville Kung Fu is a 3rd generation MTAA branch school in North Carolina founded in 2018 by MY5 Sifu Alan Hoffman. The Asheville school held its first annual long-weekend workshop with Grandmaster Moy Tung in September of 2021. A Moy Tung-lineage Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu school hosting a seminar with the Grandmaster is an important annual event, and the first one for a great-grand student Sifu is a big deal.

Sifus and students visited from Richmond and Detroit, where Sifu Hoffman began his training in 2013 under MY4 Sifu Lung Yat Tung Owen Matson. The event was a great success, with training going on all week in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, as well as at the Kung Fu school.
