2019: Kung Fu Portland 5-Year Anniversary

Portland Kung Fu, a MTAA Branch school founded by MY5 Sifu Dave Bearce, celebrated its 5th anniversary April of 2019. The MY5 is Grandmaster Moy Tung’s association for his inner circle great-grandstudents in the lineage of Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu system.

Sifu Bearce is a student of MY4 Sifu Dave Clay, whose Sifu is MY3 Sifu Moy Yat Tung Rob Squatrito, disciple of Grandmaster Moy Tung, who is in turn an SSA disciple of Grandmaster Moy Yat, disciple of the legendary Yip Man. The Ving Tsun Kung Fu lineage extends back to the Red Boat Opera Era and the Shaolin Temple of Southern China, themes incorporated in the Portland Kung Fu school’s art.
